The Results For Sugar

Sugar is either not pregnant or less then 35 days bred. She ran with a stud up until I got her. And I've had her for 12 days. So that means, I'm going to have to retest her in a few months to make certain she's not in foal for next year. Her estrone conjugate level is not 0. It's 2.45ng/ml

So....this isn't a 100% NOT pregnant result...just means she isn't foaling this year.

So there's the results. Enjoy! That certainly took some of the stress away!

You could ask you vet for a shot to make sure that she isn't pregnant if she is "barely" along - might give you a bit more piece of mind since you don't know for sure at this point if the was bred before you got her. If she was my yearling I know I would sleep better knowing that she wasn't pregnant FOR SURE.

Congratulations - now she just needs alot of TLC.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!! I agree that you should ask your vet for a shot to abort the fetus if she is just bred!! Now you can get working better on her conditioning and nutrition without worrying about a baby. Keep up the good work...she is in great hands with you!!!

Well, thank God she's not in foal (for this year)!!!! I figured the chances were awfully darn slim. I'm sure it won't be long and you'll have her in top notch condition!
