Oh no, that really doesn't look good. :no: It looks like in the first picture, you can see the pupil looking downward, and if that is what it is, there is no way that eye will ever see again, I am sure. My son's dog one time got an eye injury(got hit with a rock in the eye), and even though it was caught and treated immediately, the eyeball swelled and had to be removed. I hope I am wrong, but it sure looks bad Shawna.

Actually the whole eye is dark. You really can't see which direction the eye is going. I'm almost afraid the eye is turned down. I'm still holding to the hope that she will be able to see but I'm also willing to accept the fact she may loose the vision in that eye. The vet wants to try and save it if he can.

Poor Baby!

We had a filly a few years back that hurt her eye pretty bad like that! After 3 months of dark stall rest, her eye healed up and she could see fine! I'm sending prayers out to your girl!

Continued prayers though it still looks really painful it does look like some of the swelling is going down once it does you can better tell what you are up against.

I too hope she's not in too much pain over this! I'm also like Mona, in that with the eye pushed down like it is -- she may not regain sight.

That poor baby...I have followed it too, and I do think it looks better today than it has. Sending prayers that she has a full recovery. The body is an amazing thing.
