Several months ago I posted pictures of a toy hauler we have customized for our minis. Someone wanted to see pictures of it loaded . I finally remembered to take them.

The one of the horses in the back show only 4 of them . There are actually 7 of them. I just could not get far enought back to get them all. The black and white you see is a 36 inch mini to give you some idea of the size of the stalls. Yes those are full size trunks in the first stall . 7 of them to be exact. Wonder whose those were??

We also added a roof rack to carry carts and other things when we are fully loaded. It works very well. The full height from the top of the higest cart to the ground it 13.2. Leagal pull height is 13.6. Sometimes we wonder if the bridges are really 14', as they look lower as we get closer to them. LOL

This is a Work and Play from Forrest River. There are many floor plans to choose from on their web site, depending on whether you want more living quarter or more hauling space. We purchased ours from The RV Superstore of Mocksville in NC. They helped us so much finding out about the wall structures and other aspecs of safety for our minis. They also ordered it with the additions or eliminations we needed .

This is a great alternative way to transport our minis. We looked at horse trailers with the same amount of rear haul space and front living space and just could not afford them. We used our hauler on many trips now and just love it. I am so glad we made this decision. Sorry it has taken so long to get those pics of it loaded. Maryann

Too cool!! A friend of mine recently bought one that she wants to convert. I don't have "enough" truck to pull one, though I'd love to do that. We're taking two vehicles down to World, one pulling a camper and one pulling the horses. It is till cheaper than a motel room for that long of a time, not to mention we can do our own cooking. I'd love to just combine everything as you have.

How do you get the carts up there?

My husband put a lift on top on the rack. We wrap straps on the carts , push a button and

up they go .

We can haul 10 by putting two behind the others . We can haul 8 in the slant loads very comfortably. mary ann

That is just so wonderful! How long is your trailer? And how big is the "toy section"?

I have wanted to do exactly what you've done for a long time........ My husband is getting tired of me bringing up Toy Haulers!

HAHA Maryann.. I am so curious about the tacktrunks. I have no idea who would ever give each horse their own trunk and then make the people hauling out the horses haul out the trunks on top of eveerything else! What terrible people.. you have to fill me in on who's they are

Sorry MiniV I am so behind in answering questions and e-mails this week. I love my job

but its keeping me busy.

The entire trailer is 40 feet long including the 5th wheel part. The toy part is 17 feet long.

We kind of rationalized our purchase by knowing that our Kids and grandchildren can also use

it to haul fourwheelers and motorcycles and even a car if they want to do that later . We

can take all the dividers out and flooring for the horses and its a car carrier again.Even if we get

out of minis it can be used for a vairety of things.

And Macy who but Red Carpet Minis could carry trunks for each horse? Did I tell you we found a

love seat under all your stuff when we unloaded? LOL Just kidding.Which brings me to another point. You would be surprised at how much stuff we did carry in the hauler. It packed very well too.

We might just Loose that new little black and white boy in there next time. Wow He is soo pretty. I just love him.

He is going to turn some heads in the show ring. Maryann

What a nice set up for horses and people! You are right about living quarters trailers though, they are super expensive, but well worth it for big horses, but with Minis, this is the way to go! ------>Former Sundowner sales rep here
