Poor guy was born early on Friday, quit nursing sunday and had nasty yellow squirts, nasty, nasty! Had to have our vet out Sunday evening and she gave him fluids and some antibiotics and other meds and he has perked up a lot. His poor little bum was just on fire, little tail just swishing and bugging him. He is starting to play and fill out as you can see in his picture.

Oh he is so handsome. Congratulations. Human baby fanny wipes are wonderful for safe and soothing clean up then coat his poor buns in A&D ointment.

Oh my!!!! What a little beauty he is...thinks quite a lot of his lil self too, doesn't he.

Every once in awhile, we'll get one with some "squirts" for a day or two, and I smear some vaseline on the bumm...it will help sooth the skin, and keep the skin from getting wet and making it worse.

So glad to hear he is doing good now - he is a handsome little guy!! Congrats!!

(Vitamin E oil is soothing/healing too, I buy it at WalMart.)

He certainly has a spark to him! What a nice little trot he has. :bgrin

One of my month old babies got the squirts and I gave her a 60 cc syringe of plain yogurt for 2 days and it is gone. Maybe that will help with that part....
