I accidently dropped my Kodak digital camera and could no longer push the button to take pictures Dern it.....hubby fixed it for me. I would really like a new camera for Christmas. I've loved my Kodak, but have had it for 2 years. I want something faster to take action shots. The Kodak is really slow. What cameras do you have that you love? Price range would be $300-500.

Thanks!!

I have a Fujifilm FinePix A101. Less money than you're willing to spend, but I love it. I posted some sunset pictures yesterday if you want to see what kind of pix it takes.

I have to say I really like Canon. I have had the same camera for 2 years and its never been messed up yet!

Pentax makes really good cameras. Hubby got one a digital a few years back that is water resistant to about 15'. Not a bad idea if you plan to use it around your horses.

I switched (SLR camera) from Canon to Pentax. I'm saving for a digital SLR now. Canon's aren't bad.

If you want a dual camera, JVC now has one on the market that will do video and still photos without any tapes or discs. It is called the JVC Everio. It is about palm size and comes with it's own harddrive. It does have a slot for an SD card, a USB port to direct download. If you get the one I want, it is the most expensive, but it can record up to 7 hours of DVD quality video on it's drive. The best price on it is at www.abesofmaine.com.

My kodak died to.. i had it for years and loved the simple ness of it had the screen to see what you were taking and didnt need a memory card could download direct into the computer (LOVE THAT) i am looking to replace it as well i want SIMPLE, Zoom and easy to download that is all i care about so i am interested in this thread as well
