Yay congrats! Spending christmas with puppies is such a special time. I hope you post some pictures!
My dobie had puppies 2 christmas ago. It was wonderful being able to share it with all my pupppies. I just wish I could have kept them all. I was lucky enough though that my female had her puppies around 4 in the afternoon. We had just taken her to the vet that morning for a final check over before it was time. Vet said she's got another 2 weeks easily. So we put her away in her kennel run in our basement. Went out for 4 hours, came back I took a shower, and my boyfriend comes running in the house screaming that we have a puppy. lol Jumped out of the shower grabed the puppy as mom tried having the rest on our couch. (I knew she would, she was couch ridden for 2 weeks, lol) The rest followed shortly. We had 7 total. 2 females, 5 Males. 5 Black and Tan and 2 Blue boys.
River wood, here is a photo of the blues when they were born. They are very pretty but tend to have alot of skin issues. I made sure they went to homes with people who knew about blues and how to take care of their skin. Both homes have been doing so. Their coats get much darker as the get older. But they look so neat as puppies. Such a pretty silver color to them.
