We made it through....

Well Moxie and I did pretty darn good

Friday (the first day and the very first show for both Moxie and I) we were reserve winners bitch and best of breed puppy

Saturday sucked and we didn't place (although the judge proceeded to tell the breeder what a beautiful dog Moxie was.....anyways, whatever....lol) Moxie was really good, good expression (way better than Friday), and all the other people showing said we should've gone reserve at least...but what can you do...different judges look for different things....

Then Sunday....we went champion winners bitch, and then....WE GOT BEST OF BREED!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it!!! I was sooooo shocked and happy....and excited!!! lol

I went to sign up to have her picture taken and the judge came by and couldn't say enough nice stuff about Moxie!!! So then we were in best of group and ended up making the final cut...but we were both pretty done in by then...and also had to do best of goup puppy right after that...we didn't do so well in that lol but I was just soooo happy to get Best of Breed!! Now she's got a couple of points!!!

So here is a picture of the judge (who still couldn't say enough good things about her and the picture was taken after the best in group & puppy), myself and her breeder.

I think she and I are still on a high today!! lol She's strutting around the house thinking she's pretty cool....but I think she's also wondering why we aren't going to go 'play' with all the other doggies today!!

She's just a great little dog!!!

Thanks soo much everyone!! Moxie has been the world to me since I got her in August!!!

I am sooo lucky to have gotten the chance to get her....there's a bit of a story behind that too...but we'll save that for another time!

I was unbelievably happy with Friday's results. Then after Saturday, I was a little miffed....Mox was sooo awesome in our last down and back in winner's bitch...actually when we came out of the ring everyone asked me how I got her to stand so well and with great expression, and I had to tell them I'd never practiced it and was completely shocked when she did it (I almost forgot what I was doing!!!

)!!

And the judge really looked at her, stood back from her side when she was just standing there after the down and back....then she didn't place her....but I thought oh well, different judge from the day before, and a different judge tomorrow...

Then Sunday....I was speechless....totally didn't expect that....and like I said everytime I passed that judge after being in the ring for the breed, he just couldn't say enough nice things about Moxie. I looked up on the next 3 premium lists I have to see if he was judging any....but he wasn't. So then I looked up in the catalogue where he was from.....TN!!!!!! oh well, maybe he'll make it back up here before Mox is done! lol
