Honey foaled early this morning. She had a little colt. I think he's gonna be black, he has a blaze face and I can't tell yet if he has other markings. He really down on his front pasterns and his back legs are quite stable yet, but he's fiesty and really cute. I'll post pics as soon as I can. [My MIL was down and tried to take pics, but could only get two before the cold was too much for her digital.]

Edited 5-15-07: Unfortunately, I lost the little guy early this morning. Please don't fill up the thread or forum with condolences, I know you all feel for me and many of you have been here before. I'll take PMs if you must say something. Thank you. [We'll be burying him at home (we live on a ranch in the middle of nowhere) as soon as the ground thaws, I wrapped him in a blanket and put him somewhere safe.]

Know that baby is early so really glad to hear he is fiesty and doing well!! You will have so much fun lovin on that little guy. Can't wait to see pictures. Hope it warmed up there..we woke up to the ground covered in snow but suppose to be 65 by Saturday which will be nice for the St. Pat's Day parade. Wish you could be here for it. Mary

It is cold. It was 20 this morning when I found him and warmed up to almost 40, but now it's trying to snow.
