What a Beautiful Day!!!! I wish I could have gotten outside to enjoy it....

I just wanted to update things... As REO told you the procedure was not as we had hoped. He said the fistula to the aorta is huge and has ALOT of blood going through it, he would not touch it with out further study, that is ok with us. At least he is being cautious. The original alien is inoperable but he going to do more studies on it. He also found that the alien has a sibling. It branches off of the first one and runs straight down the center of my body into the pelvic area.

That is the reason for the call to the Dr in California. He said the disease is very bad and inoperable. But he thinks he can try to control it with other drs help and assistance. As he was trying to pull out of the procedures I started to bleed. We knew that there was a 60% chance that would happen. My luck it did. It took them 2x in the OR to get it under control. I knew something was wrong the first time because the Dr said "OH S***"!!!!! Get Dr. so and so in here stat! I am somewhat numb in the groin so I was not sure what was going on till the Dr stood up and I saw blood on his scrubs. They were discussing what was happening, and I said "Hello, I am awake here"! They started applying ALOT of pressure, the other Dr was stratling me with his fist in my groin pushing, well of course I am screaming because he is hurting me. Poor Art could hear me screaming and they would not let him come back there. After the second time of bleeding under control they took me to recovery. After 10 or so minutes the nurse came in to check me and I was lying in blood.

I thought Art was going to faint! Back to the OR and they finally got it under control. So we were there fron 830am Monday, and we got home at 1230am Tuesday. I did as the Drs told me and by Friday they said I could go to work, as long as I was not on my feet..I told Art I did not want to have this done again, scared the crap out of us!! But we went with high spirits, and left in a daze. The Dr is supposed to call us this week and let us know what is next...Geezzzzz....

Holy Cow! Did you know you were going to be awake? I can't remember. That would have scared me bad if I heard the doctor swear.

I am glad they are still tryin things to figure out, that means they are not giving up...... keep up the faith, and keep enjoying your family and loved ones (2 and 4 legeed!)

So glad to see you on the forum again. I'm sorry you are having to go through such a horrific ordeal, but it sure sounds like the Dr.s are doing the best they

can....and it sounds like you and Art have the right idea, just take things one day at a time and I am sure things will work out.

I am sorry you are having to go through this, what a rough start to your year.....I am thinking of you daily and hope that the Docs figure out the best course of treatment & can do whatever they can safely to annilate the aliens inside you.
