What kind of Hay to buy

WeeOkie (Rita) if you get the info on the hay let me know I'm still looking for another 100-150 and I know a friend of mine who is still looking for another 75. Let me know, we might be able to get a big load in and go shares. Jan T is probably looking for some also. I know Pat and Leesa are going to have problems this year as they have no place to store large amounts.

Davie, I haven't heard from Marty yet, but hope to soon. I think we could find plenty of buyers here in Oklahoma to take a full load.

When he runs out of local hay, my supplier brings in hay from Canada. My guys are fed fine grass hay or teff hay. I love the teff. They clean it all up. Too much protein in the alfalfa for my chubby boys and the timothy that is local around here is too coarse. I feed a 30% supplement with my grass hay and add in ground flax.
