Hello my name is Marty and I have a small herd of very dirty horses.

That pretty much says it all.

Last weekend I clipped up bridle paths and did the outlines of their faces.

This weekend I am still fighting with dirty tails. I keep dipping them in warm water with conditioner and apparently I'm going to have to put up a couple in bags before I tear my hair out.

It's going to be the weekend groom-a-thon around here. I'm going to have to buy stock in Sho-sheen before it's all said and done at the rate I'm going through it. It's so hard keeping the Prancers looking pretty in the dead of winter.

I'm going to have to practice with Timmy picking up his feet better. He used to but he doesn't want to anymore so I have to spend some extra time with him being patient and teach him to give his feet a lot nicer.

Jerry is going to fix the hotwire. I keep saying that and he keeps forgetting.

Then I have to go down to our new store and work there for a while and build shelves and paint the bathroom. Somewhere in this I've got to do some housecleaning

We've got food so no shopping to do and I don't care if I see another Walmart for a year.

My truck is broken down too for the very first time ever. It's a 94 Ford F150 and I love it to death. Jerry thinks it could be the drive chain, or worse. So hopefully he'll figure it out and get my mojo working again. I need my truck!

So Whatchadointhisweekend?

Stay safe and Enjoy.

And Timmy says to tell you : God Bless Us Everyone!

Tomorrow I have to go to town for groceries, the guys'll get sawdust and then not a darn thing! :aktion033:

Keep my leg elevated mostly. Go to the grocery store, probably will treat myself to an early matinee tomorrow, maybe Narnia.

Sunday Libby and I are going all the way to Kentucky almost to Louisville for a Mid America meeting.

I'll be playing with my Phillipe and looking after his puppy that we're keeping, Jolie.

This evening, we are finishing cleaning our house as my parents are coming over tomorrow morning. My mom is Martha Stewart, only she is a very nice person. Their house is immaculate and mine will be for a few hours tomorrow!

H and I were on vacation this week and were antique shopping. So, my parents are coming to see the new furniture and to see the "new" horses. They've been wanting to come and see DunIT, Sunny & Bacardi, but it's been so muddy I have been discouraging them. They don't have horses do do not know what I mean by winter mud.

If we can trudge on out there, I want to show them the little barn H built, too...

Sunday, hopefully out to lunch and just a quiet day.

Haven't given it any thought yet! Since we don't even have two pennies to rub together, I'd say we are going to stay home and just hang out. :bgrin No big projects hanging over our heads. Hubby will probably work on the dollhouse my mom gave us (it was one she started building years and years ago, and it's always been something we've wanted to do). I'll probably just spend time with the kids.

It is suppose to be in the high 70's around here, very high fire danger. I have a Rally show on Sat. with my keeshond Jaz, then we will just be watching for smoke.

Hubby and I will be cleaning up tree branches and burning trees that he cut down about 2 weeks ago. Taking down Christmas lights, and just working around the house. Same here for no money, so just working on things here that we really need to get done before the spring comes. Sunday church, and home relaxing then church again. Monday hubby is off, so will work around here again.

Cleaning out the office....it's soon (well, not SOON, but you get the idea!) going to be a nursery, and I want hubby to paint it green and yellow. We're keeping my two & three year old cousins all day on Sunday, so Big Man is gonna get geared up for "pony rides" for them. I figure I'll get him all cleaned up Saturday evening, and put him in some panels for the night & throw down some shavings where he can't get TOO dirty (he does not like to look nice! Boys

: !).

I'm looking forward to Sunday, we're going to take Big Man for a drive & go to the river (which has about 4 inches of water in it  ) and just hang out with the little ones.

well im going to go and sort out my fiillys feet, and trim their bridle paths, and them go to the bakery were they sell the best homemade cakes, and buy the biggest creamyist cake they have, drive 60 miles to my friends and have a nice cup of tea :aktion033: then give a hand with her horses and just chat chat chat! :bgrin :saludando:

I am going to have to stay in the house with my leg up since I fell down the pond bank yesterday. I have a workshop to go to tomorrow then I have to be quiet so that my husband can sleep since he is on graveyard. So I will work on my web page.

SATURDAY:

Getting over to the Library to do my Gov't Project early in the morning. Then stacking hay into the garage. Calling to get the farrier out here for Dad's horse. Then im cleaning stalls, taking them for walks and doing the regular same old same old.

SUNDAY:

If Coco's not better, were taking a nice long drive over to the vets office. Lord help us :new_shocked:. Sleeping in and then doing the regular horse chores. I also want to wash some tails now that i think about it ...i dont know. If its over 40 then i will, under 40 i wont. I might just have a big grooming day.

This weekend i also want to work with some of the horses on some tricks Nicole taught me. I want to get Rocky or Joey to bow, when Coco's feeling better sometime next week we will start teaching him to bow/lay to.

:bgrin

Doing bills!! lol

I have to work 5a-5p Saturday and Sunday, so I will be getting up at dark and getting off when it is dark. I guess I will just dispatch my little heart out and come hope and see my 4 legged babies and my 2 legged babies!

Going to go see an Black Icelandic mare that is for sale. Hubby's driving me. Just hope it stops raining a bit!

Afterwards we go to Costco to pick up 2 more of those canvas car ports for pasture shelters.

With all this rain it wouldn't hurt to have more shelters.

Going to work this morning until 5, fire danger is too high for me to go spend time with Lady and Dawn so I guess I'll spend the day tomorrow building gates and working on the barn. Of course, I'll have to take frequent breaks to play with Legacy, Maggie, and Little Man. I figure all the neices and nephews will be to see the horses tomorrow and to have a grooming session. They love to brush the horses.
