Expecting a bit of a snow storm. Should be coming in tonite sometime. Feel my joy.

Everyone is hunkered down real nice and cozy in the new barn. We stocked up on shavings just in case the Prancers are going to have to be hold up in there for a couple of days, I'll add extra bedding and they'll be very comfortable. That will give me a good chance to get the grooming going on big time and new scrunchies in their forelocks.

We were supposed to work on my tack room; hang cabinets, put up a wall, stuff like that but Jerry already told me if it's freezing outside he's going to put it off until the weather quits. The barn is warm, but he'd have to be sawing boards and things outside.

We're just going to be hanging out. I'm going to get in a pair of my beloved sleeper pants and Playboy bunny slippers and just vegatate. I'm working on my book real hard and will be taking breaks for my Saturday Sci-Fi fest. I hope they have good ones on tomorrow! I hope I don't loose power!!!!!!!

So whatchadointhisweekend, huh?

Do it safely and as Timmy says "GOD BLESS US EVERYONE"!!!

Lonesome is getting picked up by his new owner early tomorrow morning!

We had plans for a family get together at my parents', but due to predicted snow, we're doing it next weekend instead.

Have 8 DVD's from NetFlix and did all my house work today -- so just going to be lazy this weekend and hopefully enjoy the pretty snow (I love snow).

We may get some of that snow too, but we hardly ever do, so we'll wait and see. I got my groceries this afternoon. Kayla had an earache, but now she is better after tylenol and olive oil in the ear. So IF we get snowed in, then we will have food and hopefully the earache is gone. She's great now. Hanging on the back of my chair.

We get the new minis from TC Miniatures next Saturday, so pray and hope for good weather for a three hour drive! I know that is nothing for some of you, but to me it is quite a jump!

Hope everyone has a super duper weekend, and Marty, I hope you keep power!

I am pushing for a vacation to Chattanooga this summer just to come see the Prancers.

:aktion033: We'll it looks as though we may be snowed in, due to them calling for some good amounts here, and we'll lets just say they aren't too big on the roads here. SOOOOO we will be vegging in the house, and I will probably work on my quilt and the kids will rot their brains with movies, maybe get a board game in or two. Hubby will be veggin too.. Plus I have a great book I am finishing

I'm planning on some cleaning, lots of eating, plenty of sleeping. Hopefully I'll get around to packing my hospital bag and we can finish up the final baby preparation stuff.

Currently waiting on a shipper to pick up Lovely to take her to her new temporary home until she leaves for TX for quarantine and then off to Germany.

Trying to get her on the road before the weather starts. Expecting approx. 10 inches of snow tomorrow.

My new QH yearling colt(soon the be gelded) is in TN somewhere. He was picked up in Indiana. They had to drop off several in TN. The weather started and she has been driving in it and will probably stall him with one of the drop offs until the roads are clear. I feel bad because she would be driving through this bad weather all the way to us in VA. I don't think there is anyway around it. She said something about wanting to get through the gourge(sp?) in TN before it got too bad.

Today one of my best friends is coming over! I have not seen her since Christmas. I hope the weather is nice so she can visit with the horses.

Tomorrow hubby will get a day off work so we can spend time together. I think I'll fix him a nice dinner of fried chicken.

And, I'll be still working on something

All my plans are out of here....cancelled!

Just WATCHING IT SNOW, and it is beautiful!

So I guess I will do some housework, laundry, and continue on the packing and decluttering...the neverending chores...and playing on the internet, of course.

I've a got single load of laundry to do that I wasn't able to finish yesterday. Everything else is done (vacuuming, dishes, dusting, etc.) so I guess I'll be spending some time Online and reading or maybe trying to write a little inbetween walks to the parks with the dogs!

Weekend already started but so far spent yesterday cleaning house, had a meeting w/social workers and our potential new foster daughter, she is spending the weekend with our family and we will decide from there. Found out she only had one pair of old too small tennis shoes so took her shopping last night and bought new shoes and some jeans for her. Came home and had "taco night" at home with the whole family and just watched tv.

Today took the family out for brunch, son had basketball, picked up a load of feed and shavings, and tonight I have to go to a black tie formal affair community fundraiser so I'll be spending the afternoon trying to lose 10 more pounds :bgrin since I will be wearing a long sequin gown, high heels and doing the full formal fancy hair and make-up thing. I'll have to get some pictures...I'm not sure I can even walk in high heels anymore. We will see.

Tomorrow I hope to take the kids to church, we've been bad about going lately, plan to take the kids to a movie and to the ice skating rink.

Also plan to get every kid from four years old on up out in the barn stripping stalls and cleaning. Came home after running errands today and they were in the house having hot chocolate having been outside with the horses for two hours and found out they didn't do a darn thing IN the barn. Just played with the horses and did some grooming. I'm all for that part of it, but I want help with the stuff that isn't fun too.

Probably doing some housework which I've been neglecting, getting photos for registrations and transfers of horses, maybe going to pick up some feed if I can get a buddy to ride along with me if my son has to work.

Meeting with family coming into town for the memorial on Monday, that is going to be hard, and watching some movies, having some "unplug" time when we have a moment. Needing lots of that in spite of all that has to be done, even though I feel guilty about it, it seems to help a lot.
