I only like doing the 'unglamourous' performance classes, obstacle driving, halter obstacle, hunter, and jumper. I feel like a second-class citizen when shows don't offer me the same chances to show that they do the 'glory' performance classes like country pleasure, pleasure, roadster, etc. There are a LOT of different versions of those classes available, but they don't want to give me even two classes in my obstacle classes (at many local shows, and especially at Nationals). Not having enough chances to go in the ring and show my horse is one of the main reasons that I don't bother with AMHR shows and stick to the AMHA ones. They give me Ammy and Open is all of my classes, including at World.
