I came across this little guy just yesterday, a lady contacted me that she was about to purchase him, already had transport put together and paperwork...but at the last minute her family got together and her children decided they want a larger riding pony instead...she remembered seeing my ad, looking for a small therapy/educational mini, and she e-mailed me.

His name is PeeWee! He is 7yrs old and I am told stands a mere 20"! Though his registration says 23" so we'll see =) His tail drags 3' on the ground behind him, his mane flows down to his knees, and his forelock rolls over his nose...beautiful! He is correct in every way, the lady who almost bought him has photo's (mailed to her that she's mailing to me) and she said she's never seen a mini so small, and so correct...she has a little dwarf herself and she said PeeWee has no dwarf characteristics. He has been used in a petting zoo for his entire life since he was born at this farm so he will be perfect for coming around the city with me to give presentations on the miniature horse, and to educate the community about them!

I am so excited! Here's the photo of PeeWee (I think it's an older one):

Here is his sire, Little King who stands 28.5"

And here is his great grandsire, paternal side, Stouts Mr. Pride 30"

We will be going to schools, elderly homes, pet stores, parks...you name it, we're going to travel there to present the miniature horse! His owner says one day she realized...he fits into most dog costumes! PeeWee is going to have his own wardrobe lol Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter...=)

I can't wait to see him in person! His owners said if there is anything I don't like about him, they'll take him back and give a full refund...so what's to lose, except maybe finding the worlds smallest, correct stallion???

:D

How cute!!!! Good luck with your tiny "Pee-Wee"... I'm sure he's just the one right one to do "Pr" for the minis...

Thanks, I too think he will be perfect for presenting the miniature horse world!

I was trying to think of a more manly name for him....if I can't think of one i'll stick with PeeWee, does anyone have any ideas?

Can't wait to see more pictures.

I don't know why, but they only name that comes to mind is "Thor". Is that manly enough for the little guy?

I really look forward to seeing more pictures of him!!!

For a "manly" name, I always said if I ever get a real small dog (smaller than my shih-tzu's), I'd name him Thor

PeeWee-Thor wanted me to tell you he is bigger and stronger than he appears. It takes A LOT of strength for him to compress himself and make himself look little. Also, his legs go all the way to the ground, so he can't be but so short

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I sure wouldn't be rushing into buying him from one photo alone. He is clearly a very young horse in this photo...maybe a long weanling, maybe a yearling in that photo. Although the owner says he is not a dwarf, they may have limited knowledge of dwarfism, and he could be a less severe dwarf. I am not saying he IS, I am saying don't get your hopes up too high, just in case. Regardless of whether or not he is a good representative of the breed, I know he will bring joy and many smiles to the faces of many folks in homes, schools etc. Good Luck, and we'll be looking forward to seeing/hearing more about this little guy!

LOL Jill, your Thor told my PeeWee good =) Maybe if I just want around calling everything Thor for a while i'll start to see the biggness! THOR!

Mona,

I already thought that through my head, I am not worried...his owners said if there is ANY reason I don't like him, they'll take him back and give me a full refund...so what's to lose?

This other lady, she owns a dwarf, she has recent photo's of PeeWee and told me she has never seen such a tiny, correct mini in her life...so, i'm not really worried about it, if he is a dwarf maybe i'll just love him for being him and keep him any how =)

I tried looking this guy up in both studbooks, but could not find a 1999 foal by Little King's Clyde listed in either of the studbooks? In fact, the last foals listed by Little Kings Clyde (in BOTH studbooks), were back in 1995. Are you sure of his age, or perhaps they had him registered through something else instead? What is his registered name? But I did find that his sire, Little King's Clyde is listed at 29.5" in both studbooks, not 28.5". Also Stout's Mister Pride was listed at 30.5".

Mona, I already had his pedigree looked up, it's pretty short! His sire isn't Little Kings Clyde, it's SWKs Little King. PeeWee is SWKs Little PeeWee if you want to look him up again...his dam has unregistered parents, and only the paternal side of his sire goes back.

=)

Oh, forget it...LOL! I see I was looking up the wrong information! I thought Little King was Little Kings Clyde. Had that wrong!

How very darling......

Our baby filly from this year is just turning 4 months

and is 24 inches.....

I can hardly imagine an adult being even smaller......

He's going to bring you LOTS of smiles........

l'd love to see this 20' tall correct guy in a recent picture do you have one?? l can't even picture a 20" mature mini thats really something.

I know, he sounds so TINY!!!

I am getting recent photo's of him on Tuesday, they aren't on the computer so i'll have to scan them in to show everyone but I am sure I will be showing him off!!!

The thought if him and what we are going to be able to accomplish together is already giving me lots of smiles =)

He is cute but...... He doesnt look "normal" or absolutely "correct ? to me. Sorry I have to say that this picture of him looks like a weanling or yearling possible dwarf to me.... just my opinion so dont shoot me but I had to say it.

Lyn

Well I figure a few people are going to say it, the picture looks a *little* gangly to me too but be honest, there are lots of gangly horses out there or even NICE ones that can have very ugly photo's taken of them =)

I already know there's going to be a few people who just don't believe and would rather assume it's a dwarf, so, no hard feelings...just waiting here for those other photo's to arrive to really see him now....=)
