I think the perfect name for him would be "Brutus". He is too cute. I hope you have fun with him

Yes, I like this one...I have a lab named Brutus, he is my soulmate.

Good luck with him, I can't wait to see pictures. You've already said from the beginning that it is a possiblity he may be a dwarf and that's ok with you, you'll love him regardless so I don't know why some keep trying to rain on your parade with negative comments. (I'm sure I'll get an earful for that comment

Anyhow, congratulations!

Wow, the last few of you who just left replies, literally just brought tears to my eyes =) It means so much to me to hear your support!!

I know some of you have me marked as a bad person in your eyes, and i know it's probably because of me just recently getting out of mini's for my own reasons...but I just want everyone to know that I truly believe PeeWee...or Brutus...or Thor...lol is going to live the rest of his life with me. I am going to fight until the end for this guy, he is too small to have someone tell me I can't have him, and if someone demands I find him a new home, I will move until I find a place where he can be with me. I feel a real dedication coming on with this guy...my heart still aches every day for my other mini's and I still cry often, especially over Delight...who went overseas to a wonderful lady in Belgium (we have been in touch!)...everyone makes mistakes and I do know I made a huge one letting her go. I am not going to put myself through that again.

This latest support is music to my ears, and is keeping me strong for this ordeal I have to face ahead (changing the city ordinance) I thank you all for your support!

I can't wait for tomorrow to see PeeWee's photo's!

Just a thought here... Do you live where horses are not allowed? Are you going to use this little horse to make a point about some dogs being bigger , noisier etc to get the town to allow him? If you dont ALREADY have an ordinance that allows horses wether 2 feet or 10 feet tall, You may be setting yourself and him up for disapointment having to remove him after he arrives and loves it there. I have seen that happen more times than not when city ordinances are involved. Im also wondering as a side note , if you dont already suspect that he is a dwarf ( and I believe even all dwarves need happy homes) why did you ask the question if dwarves always produce dwarves and if you are not wanting to geld him for your therapeutic program did you ask that because you are planning to use him as a stud? These are the questions that are still bothering me. Not that I think you are a bad person..... not at all. I comend you for wanting to give a little horse a great home and give others the oportunity to enjoy him.... just some of the stuff doesnt jive .

Using him for a presentation to prove a point that he shouldnt be considered the same as a horse may set you both up for dissapointment down the road.

Lyn,

I do live in a city where currently, miniature horses are not included in the ordinance, but as I have explained in another post, i've been working with my area's alderman who is just tickled pink about the idea. I am bringing in PeeWee as a therapy/educational animal which is allowed in the city. IF for some reason someone happens to have a problem with him being here, i'll move. It's already been discussed with me that an animal other than a dog can be allowed as long as it is for a purpose such as to educate, or as a therapy or guide animal, which PeeWee is going to be.

I understand your concern, and again I do appreciate you're just looking out for my, and PeeWee's best interest...but again, please dont undermine me, my knowledge, and the studying I have done before even thinking of bringing in a miniature horse. I have been working with the city for the last month now, this is not new, and not something where I don't know what I am doing.

Also, I think you and maybe a few other people have gotten two of my topics confused...I did NOT ask "Do dwarfs always produce dwarfs" because of PeeWee...remember, in my head he is perfect until proven otherwise. I explained in that topic, and you'll see it was posted even before I knew about PeeWee, that I had seen a show on tv called BIG LIFE, LITTLE PEOPLE and the question just ran through my head...human "little people" can produce perfectly normal children, so I was curious if a dwarf mini was ever seen to produce a perfectly healthy little mini.

And again you are completely missing how many times i've said, I don't believe in breeding a dwarf...ever...and I refuse to breed a dwarf...I don't understand why you are against me, and constantly assuming that I literally intend to breed a dwarf???

I don't mean to get so emotional, but it really does hurt that no matter how many times I explain my side on here, each time you've come back with a question I already answered earlier in the post...i'm sorry in advance if I talk a little heated, but this topic was started to let people know what I found, and it is upsetting that so many forum members would rather believe PeeWee is a dwarf, than believe that maybe, just maybe, someone finally did produce the smallest, correct mini stallion yet!

Again, photo's tomorrow will tell...and I am prepared to love PeeWee, either way =)

Good luck to you then.....

From looking at the pic, it looks like the pic was taken just as the child was being placed on him or he was spooked so he was trying to back up and he put his leg weird. It is just not the best picture.

Good luck in educating people about the miniature horse and having him visit people. Therapy animals can change a person's life dramatically.

Best of luck!

Pee Wee is a cutie pie and I'm sure he'll have a wonderful Mom in you no matter what! Just like our human kids we love them all for what they are even with imperfections if that's the case. Good luck to you, I wish you both the best

:saludando: Hi. I don't get on the forum near as much as I used to, so I just read through your thread. Girl, he is adorable and I know that he will be everything you are hoping for...and then some. I know you love your horses as much as if they were your own children, so I have no doubt that he will have a wonderful new home.

I hope everything works out with your mission with your town. And I have dreamed about visiting nursing homes, hospitals, etc with my pets, so I hope that you can live that dream out for the both of us. It will be a very rewarding thing, and a very touching experience. Best of luck to you and your new little addition. :aktion033: Keep me updated, will you?

Thank you everyone so much =) I appreciate all your wonderful comments and support, it means the world to me!

Greystone, I too look at the picture and try to imagine if PeeWee just moved a leg to brace the weight of a child, and ended up getting a gawky photo taken. It does also look like a much younger photo of him too, he does not look 7 years old in that photo =)

The first lady that was really interested in PeeWee, her husband had requested more photo's because that one photo makes PeeWee look like he could be cow hocked, so his owners took specific new photo's to send to this lady to show her that he is perfectly straight, and correct...

Still excited to see the photo's!!!

I just can't wait until he is here for me to give him a huuuuuge hug!
