How do you access a horse is varnish vs being born that color? Especially without a foal picture..just curious. my stallion is a varnish and shows a big blanket in the winter..he was born a solid bay and changed to what he is now....I always thought varnish left color on the bony points of a...

I own one of JGB's sons...he also has that wide jagged blaze with white/pink splotches around his mouth area and he does have blue eyes ..he also has 2 small white spots on his left shoulder...when I talked to his breeder, who owned JGB she told me he carried Splash...I had my boy tested...

FILLY!!!!!!!!! Our maiden mare, decided to foal this afternoon at 4 pm..saw her laying in the pasture and ran to bring her in.....was a bit of a tight fit but otherwise a textbook delivery! We are soooo pleased with this little girl...she is so refined and delicate..and has some loooooong...

I feel your pain...and am so sorry for your loss(((hugs))) we all try so hard to insure our little ones a good life..good beginnings...good foalings and good byes.....sometimes things just happen beyond our control. My mare did not want to part with her baby...she did the same thing..softly...
