I also have a 29" mare that often gets overlooked in the ring. Its almost like they can't see her in "The Land of the Giants" LOL. So, I try to make sure that I am loudly dressed and try to position her close to a horse that I feel is top in the class. I feel this helps her get noticed.

I had 2 Great Pyrs since they were pups. They never bothered the horses, but they had eachother to play with. Would another dog be in the cards for you? My male would be the aggressor, while the female stayed back with the horses.

I have to Vegas a few times, heck, even got married there!!!! (IT WAS PLANNED lol) We usually stayed on the strip at the cheapest hotel, as we only used it for a few hours sleep. My favorite place was The Gran Canyon, it is an amazing site to see!!!! Lake Mead is pretty awesome too.
