    Is this true?

That is going to far... Put in a protest if you know the horse is to tall.. The owners honesty needs a measure, but so does that of a person handling someone else's property without permission.. That is no better than a break and enter..

A Plausible Solution to AMHA's problems

Okay I will put my money where my mouth is... Who want my hundred bucks to protest the measuring at the nationals.. Any of the big time show horses that everyone knows is over the 34 inch limit. Maybe I don't show, but I can show my support by offering to defend the measuring rules..

What do you like to see?

I like a nice clean profile picture without any picture manipulation and I absolutely hate the greasy look.. Pedigrees included are always welcome..

    The Problem with Measuring

I really think that changes can be made for the better now that Pres. Want, Ed Sisk, R3 and Mr. Sellwood and a few other admit that things have gotten out of hand over time.. Likely many of these things were going on even before their time as board members so no blame is being put on anyone...

    The Problem with Measuring

I would like to hear what other people who attended this show measured in at compared to what their horse actually is. Maybe if enough people attending this show complained to the hosting club, this person would not be allowed to measure again...

    Idea for 'Interim' Internet Voting…

It sound like a wonderful idea as long as the issues were addressed along with the vote.. As was pointed out before we do not want members voting on an issue without knowing exactly what they are voting for. It would not show the true value of the vote otherwise.. Maybe a good place to start...

Why wouldn't this ONE wicket work?

    Excellent idea..

    The Problem with Measuring

    The Problem with Measuring

Who is doing the measuring at the Worlds??????? Will this measuring be done right??

Why wouldn't this ONE wicket work?

If the horse is use to going into a barn, into a stall and into a trailer, why would this be much different.. If it is the width of the wicket, if could be built wider..

    The Problem with Measuring

This sounds to much like condoning the cheating to me.. The people responsible for entering the horse in the wrong height division is and should be responsible.. The person on the other end of the rope... How is allowing this to continue to going on helping anybody...???? I have said before...

    The Problem with Measuring

Who are these Show Managers.. ?????? Are they not AMHA Members.. ?????? The cheating is probably loosing them more entries than they would loose by doing things right... Who in their right mind would enter a show knowing they don't stand a chance in %#&& with all the cheating that is...

    The Problem with Measuring

wpsellwood The answer to this would be for you to leave your horses at home once or twice a year and do the measuring for a show... The same goes for other breeders that know this cheating is going on and want to see it stopped..

    The Problem with Measuring

Any person sewing, gluing or spaying hair should be disqualified from ever showing again.. If it happened to one or two it would probably never happen again.

    The Problem with Measuring

If the wicket worked well why not draw up blue prints and send them out to each club.. There must be someone in each club able to build a set.. These measuring escapades must be stopped right from the local show right up to the nationals..

LB members who wanted the vote....

And this new tread isn't a sensationalist approach.. ?????????? It sure got everyones attention didn't it.. Yeah Ed Sisk...Now maybe something will be done about the measuring problems.. Now who wants the vote... ???????????? :yeah

    The Problem with Measuring
