It is another filly, that makes 4 out of the 5 babies we have had. This baby is a really weird color, but i can already tell you what color she will be because her full sister was this color when she was a baby last year but was a bay pinto. She will be a dark bay pinto. Her mom is palomino and white with pink skin but looks cremello and she is out of 2 black and white pintos, and the baby's dad is a sorrel with flaxen mane and tail. This baby's sire is also a son of Sids Rebel. It is a weird color but it is neat. She was born at 11:30 last night. I am really happy with the foals so far. 5 down only 20 more to go. Aubrey

Shes a very pretty little girl but Im a bit confused. Her mom is a palamino pinto & her dad is a sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail? but her sister is a bay? If the parents colors are correct there is no black gene to produce a bay? Right?

Aubrey, are you sure the sire isn't a silver bay? Many silver bays are mistaken for sorrels.

She's a cute filly and she knows it! Please tell the filly fairy that I want at least one filly, since you seem to have a pretty good hold on her, LOL. I'm only expecting two, so surely that isn't too much to ask?

I am pretty sure that her sire is not a silver bay. Here is a picture. The babies mom is out of 2 black and white pintos. So the gene is there but i am like you i don't understand how the baby can be bay, but this is like her sister was. Please try to help me with this color. Aubrey
