Amy, it sounds like your show went great, as well.

Leia: glad you had a fun weekend but I think we need to put lead in your shoes or feed you better as Kody was one STRONG boy in jumping. He wanted to go over a different jump than you. Next time we will take him on the walk thru too!! But I am envious of you in precision driving, you are a perfectionist.
Ya noticed the whole "drag mom off to the finish line" thing, hmm?

:  I keep saying he jumps fine, it's the LEADING he needs work on! He's getting a lot better at home and practicing around the show grounds but he gets in that ring and he decides it's a race and I'm slowing him down. And we all know how kindly Kody takes to people thwarting him. :new_shocked: It's mostly those darn right turns that tick him off....

Precision driving is my kind of class. Please, please, please continue to offer it and preferably more like it as well! Reinsmanship, Disciplined Rail, anything that involves a test of the driver.

: I always was a trail class and disciplined rail person when I rode, I really enjoy doing it driving as well.

Thanks to everyone that showed at Pacific Crown. We had a hot one too but I was lucky to have a neighbor with a fan in the aisle way. Warm up arena for driving was a dream, polite people, and everyone helping each other.
The warmup arena was a dream with so few competitors. I loved it! Thank you all for your hard work in putting the show on. :aktion033:

Ally...is a little hot (sometimes a lot) at the CDEs too, but driving in company really was difficult for her at first. The most fun placing with her was in halter obstacle, our first time competing in that class. We got a second under both judges, out of six competitors. She was outstanding in that class! I loved it! She is going to be a FABULOUS all-around horse. I have some photos coming from the show photographer, she is really pretty in the harness, that is for sure.
I can't wait to see her Amy! Kody had trouble with all that crowding at first too but after awhile they get used to it.
