Hopkinton Fair Mini Show August 31st

Hopkinton State Fair runs a 3 or 4 day horse show, they do all the mini classes on Sunday. It is probably my favorite show of the year. There is really nothing all that unique about it, I just really like it! Anyone planning on showing there? If you didn't know, Hopkinton is in New Hampshire, near like Bow and sort of near Concord.

Were going with a trailer full, 4 or 5 at least.

Good show with cash paybacks. Tiz will be there but your horses should do well Matt. I don't know who else is going as I have to drop a horse off in NY that weekend. Linda

Lizzie really wants to go to this show...she went last year and loved it. But there is also a Colonial show that day so she is going there so that her cousin can show. It is her cousin's second show ever and they have 7&under.

Great show and you will have fun. Grounds are great and easy to get to.

There is probably several people that usually go to this show that won't be because Colonial Miniature has their last show on the same day. So if you are working toward year end you need to go to this one for your last chance. Lizzie is such a sweet girl to think of her cousin instead of herself. Love you Lizzie.

And yes Linda is correct Tiz a Mini will be there with lots of horses. Not sure who the judge is but you should not have any problems with your horses. Go out there and knock them off their socks.

How do we get information on the show? We have never been. I just Mapquested it and it isn't too far from us. Maybe we will go.

Sue it is a really fun show! I love it! You should definitely go! If you decide to go let me know and maybe we can somehow arrange to park next to each other.

Shelley, it's not Colonial fair it's a miniature horse club that is having their show the same day as Hopkinton Fair. This one will be held in Hancock at Clearbrook Stables. If I had to choose, I'd go to Hopkinton first. We can't go this year as Colonial put their show on the same day and my 2 granddaughter as trying for year end awards.

Sue you and Makalya should go, you will have fun there and the fair is great to. Besides the ribbons in each class, 1st-4th receive cash in an envelope at the same time. You can pay yourself back for the entry fee and spend the rest at the fair. Lizzie won all her entries back last year and then some. We will make it on the calendar for next year and make sure that CMHC doesn't conflict next year also.

Thanks for letting me know about this show. I think we will go. We are just going to bring Belle. She & Makayla will just do the youth performance classes.

I am looking forward to a relaxing, fun day. Sounds like the perfect place for it!
