I am so sorry to hear about your stallion. I was one of the senior students on call and waiting for him to come in yesterday. I was so excited that this would be my first mini case. Then we got the bad news that he had not made it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know how hard this can be.

Did you have a post-mortem done on him? You really should find out exactly what caused him to go downhill so fast -- especially if he was around your other horses!! A lot of the clinics will do it for nothing because they know they will learn from it and be better able to handle future cases that present in a similar manner.
