I am going to be doing a weekly radio show, and am pretty excited about it. It will be about financial planning with a focus on retirement (my profession).
The radio show is called "Financial Safari" and it airs Nationally. I will be doing the "local" inserts on two AM stations and one FM station. It will air from 9-10am on Saturday mornings on 730AM (WTNT -- Alexandria, VA) and 1250AM (WKDL -- Warrenton, VA) beginning next Saturday, October 29. It will soon be simulcast on 92.3FM (Fairfax Station, VA). Each week, I will do two 11-minute segments for the show.
People in the area can listen on their radios, and those who are out of the area but want to hear can listen online here or through various radio "TuneIn" applications: http://www.730wtnt.com/
The radio station will have our banner ad up next week (I "owe" them another graphic).
This is something I've wanted to do for about 18mos, and the cards just recently fell into place. If nothing else, I soon can boast that I have a face for radio
Hope some of my LB friends will tune in and benefit from the discussions that air. I will will be doing the recording on Tuesday at first via telephone. Pending it being what I really want to keep doing, I will be installing a recording studio at my office (have plenty of room). So the sound quality will be better going forward, assuming I do decide to continue with this long term.
Thanks for letting me share this news that I've been so excited about!!!
