My Christmas Present to myself

I'm so excited to announce that Llanfillo Estina* finally arrived yesterday (after many weeks of waiting)! She is 12 hands, 14 year old mare, imported lines, a Welsh Pony (section A also known as a Welsh Mountain Pony). An excellent addition and start for my plans to breed Welsh ponies. She is so kind, and sweet, she has a temperament very much like my favorite Mini mare Spring.

I hope to breed her in the spring, and also plan to train her to ride.

I had a welsh cob growing up, and she was my "heart horse". you know, how you have that once in a lifetime horse, no one else will ever compare? well, she was awesome and i am sure you wont be dissapointed. Thanks everyone! I'm on cloud 9, enjoying her!

We are supposed to get a big snow storm tomorrow, sounds like a good excuse for a long grooming session in the barn.

She is not trained to drive, she's been a broodmare so far in her life, had 8 gorgeous foals! I'm really excited about getting her bred and raising a foal of my own.
