Ok my one daughter (29 years old ) that got married last June is having a baby BOY, around November 13th.

Her sister is having a baby shower for her this Sunday.

What games have you found to be most enjoyable?

We played a fun game at a recent shower. Each person got four clothes pins and the object of the game was to not cross anything, no leg crossing, finger crossing, eye crossing, arm crossing. it is much harder than it sounds. So, anyway, if you get caught crossing anything the person that catches you gets all your clothes pins and you are out. The last person with clothes pins wins. It is fun and goes on for most of the shower.

You must all be pretty excited with the due date getting close!

Dress the baby: Teams of two stand side by side, each holds the inside arm behind their back, and one of the team using the right hand and the other the left, together must diaper and dress a doll. Teams are timed, quickest wins.

Teams can go one at a time, or if you have enough dolls, diapers and clothes, they can all go together. Make sure if the teams go at the same time that the clothes are similar so that some teams don't have more difficulty than others.

Have fun

I am not a shower expert, heck only been to one and that was for Misty Rose's daughter. They are raising their baby with natural foods, all vegetarian. The game was to put a bit of this baby food on a plate, taste it and guess what it was. Since it was all vegetarian, we were safe from something really gross like liver! :new_shocked:

Jody, we did that at my nieces shower,,,,,,,,,but we did get the gross stuff. A few women had to stop after tasting the first few,,,,,,,,,lets just say their tummy's didn't like them so much.

One of the most fun games,,,,,,,,,,take a roll of toilet paper,,,,,,,,pass it around,,,,,,,,each person takes off the roll and they are trying to take off enough to fit around the pregnant mom........then each person gets to fit their piece of toilet paper around the new mom. Closest without being under, wins...........when we did this it was pretty fun as some people took off a ton of paper!

And Congratulations!!!!!!!

: My all time favorite baby shower game is name the baby. You get a list of animals and a list of baby animals hen match them up, It had the easy ones like a baby cow heifer a baby bull bullard a baby mare filly a baby stallion colt also a baby horse foal, then they included baby oysters a set, baby swans and all harder they could think of. Being a biology major it was the only game I always won.

I saw a cute one on "The Girls Next Door". The host melted different chocolate bars and put them in diapers. The guests had to taste the chocolate which, well you know what it looked like, and guess what kind of chocolate bar it was.

Congrats!

Ewwww the melted chocolate one. rotf. It sounds like hilarious fun.

How about pin the diaper on the baby? Someone get a picture of like one of those bearskin rug pics, and cut out a diaper sized paper to be the diaper then blindfold each person when it's their turn and have them try to pin the diaper on the baby.
