Would like to get to know all people on the Forum?

Share a picture of your Herd or Favorite Pic?

Or Just tell us How you got into Minis and How Long?

Only been in minis 3 years, started with one unregistered and

as we all know got hooked with the little pinto baby, just had to have registered.

So only 2 years with registered. and 3rd year coming up breeding.

Only read books, and ask questions & started showing in Ontario!!

My Husband also broke our horse himself to drive, that is what he enjoys most.

Thanks in advance to all that replies :saludando:

I'm currently horseless, so I don't have any pics. to share at this time. Previously, I've owned many Miniatures over about seven years and have enjoyed training and showing them to the (AMHA) National level in Halter and performance classes.

WELCOME!!!!!!!! :aktion033: :aktion033:

I don't share pictures of myself too often, but thought I would this once.

This is of me and our little stallion, Little Kings BT Tango!

And this is of my very special little girl, Prints, that was born with no sucking reflex and most on the forum can probably tell you about as much about her as I can!!!!

Just wait, you will look around one day and find your self with dozens of the little squirts running around. They are so addictive! I am not new to minis, but I am new to the forum. It is a great place. You will get addicted to it, too!! Glad to have you here learning with the rest of us. :aktion033:

:saludando: Hi and welcome ,welcome from Northern Michigan! You will find Nikki and the others So full of knowledge and so helpful you have trouble finding time to read it all.

My new girl is in my Avatar and we have two others, lil SHortcake, 27" mare and Shadow 35" gelding. Shadow and Shammy in Avatar both drive, SHortcake has clubby feet and is our pet and a therapy girl in training.

Here's her picture from last year and Shadow.

The best thing I have found when I want to know who I am "talking to" in cyber space is to click on their signature and surf their website. That gives me an idea of what kind of horses they are into and about their farms, etc. I am nosey as he77.

When you see someone post and you want a better idea of something they are saying, just drop them a PM.

Hi Reble!

And welcome to you and all the newbies. :) I was a newbie to the forum back around 1998 and am still learning more and more every day!

I have had my minis for 18 years this coming summer. I usually have between 25 and 30 and here is a picture of me last summer with my one tiny filly that I kept from last years's foal crop..... little HHH Rambos Strawberry Shortcake. She is almost 23" now at almost 7 months. :)

I LOVE summer here in Wyoming! Believe me......right now we are covered with snow!

You can check out all my other minis on my home page listed in my signature. :)

Hi from NW Oregon where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean, home of the winter camp of Lewis and Clark expedition, 1805-06 (this site is a few miles from my doorstep).

I have 7 Miniatures right now, with one more on the way in April. Our most recent foal was born 8 days ago.

Here is one of our "favorites", she is our oldest in age and longest-owned Miniature, Dell Tera's Betty, known only as Gramma Pony when she arrived, since she was given to us and we had no papers for her:

The rest you can see on our website, www.rhminis.com/ (click to see "Our Horses").

Nice to see you!

I've been here since May of 1997, and I really like that there are new people arriving every day, bringing new input, new and old questions and pictures and the chance to get to know someone else with a common interest!

Hi Reble,..What a lovely photo of your herd! We live in Arizona and need to irrigate every two weeks just about -to grow pasture in this climate. Here is a photo of one of mine enjoying a stroll thru the irrigated pasture last summer. :saludando:

hi! We are located in central Iowa and if you would like to see some pictures please visit our webiste. www.hoofweb.com/timberview We need to update but you can see lots of pictures there. I really like the picture of your minis. It sounds like you enjoy your minis as much as us and we have a few more. We started in 1993 with the minis and eventually sold all our big breed horses.

What a beautiful picture, Mary! Is that Prince Charming? :)

Yes Susan,

: thanks- I thought he looked a little skinny in that photo- but I liked the reflection it gave anyway. :saludando:

:saludando: HI Mary-- I think you have done very well. How about coming out & joining the MHCO? They are recruiting for new members & have just become an AMHR club. They will be puting on a sanctioned show at Durham this summer - which is right close to you & the other sanctioned show is in Drayton-- again right in your own back yeard. You will meet a lot of nice people & will learn the rules & why we all do things the way we do them, I sure hope you will think about joining. It is $30.per per couple or $45.00 per farm-- gives you 2 votes & allows the kids to show as well. they put on their own club point shows & now have become an AMHR club so will also have the AMHR point shows-- they also have fun days which I know you would enjoy.

Get in touch with Carolyn Aarup if you would like to join or get more information.

Welcome from the far northeast corner of the US We are located about 12 miles from Maine's state capitol. We have had minis since 2001 when we rescued two from a very bad situation. So far we have not shown but hope to this year. We have 11 minis that is our stallion in our avatar. So far we have just loved them and cared for them. We are usually lurkers on the forum but have also made some valued forum friends. Come often and enjoy its a great place to learn and connect with other mini lovers.

Hi. Welcome to the Forum. I bred my first miniature sized horse in 1963 and have not been without one since then, so I guess that is forty-three years. We live just south of Austin, Texas, and have over 200 head, all of which are pictured on my website.

Welcome to all the newcomers on the Forum. I'm Joyce from Little Folks Farm in CT with 13 miniatures at present. Have had minis since 1985 and have showed and had several foals born here. Last Fall I learned to drive and bought a bombproof driving horse and am having a ball with him. Been on the Forum for several years and enjoy all the knowledge that can be learned here. One of my foals is in my Avatar and I don't know how to post pictures here as I'm not computer savy. Also my senior stallion is pictured on the Lil Beginnings Breeders Connect at:

www.lilbeginnings.com/breeders/llf/

with a small writeup.

Hi Mary. I just sent in my money to join the Ontario miniature horse club. Have meet some very nice people from Canada and loved the photo contest the club runs the last few years. We also have some great shows in Michigan and hope to see you and Glen there. We are always learning and meeting a great group of people that share a love for horses not only in person but on this forum.
