Rooster comes from a litter of bird related names as their sire was named Eagle.

Rooster's littermates are

Kele (native american for Kestrel or Sparrow Hawk)

Dyami (native american for Eagle)

Goose

Talon

Quail

& Feather

Rooster's registered name is Sixstar's I Gotta Crow

and he actually does making a crowing sort of vocalization at times.

He's also a very happy & youthful spirited fellow.

Actually I think the species confusion is a lil bit on both their sides.

Saber looks forward to meeting dogs when we are out on walks

and Rooster likes apples and nibbling on Saber's hay
