Not so Merry Christmas.....

Moonie, our little medicine hat mare, aborted last night while I was feeding. Darn it! 6 month fetus. Colt by McSperitts Rowdy Night Image. Moonie is fine, just unhappy that she doesn't have a live baby.

Hope the rest of the upcoming foaling season is uneventful!

Must be a bad month for Moonies. Our Moonie lost a bay filly on the 12th at 305 days. It was a horrible dystocia but Moonie is doing fine.
