Is anyone planning to go to this show? I haven't found any info online other than the AMHR calendar.

Also...anyone going to the Evergreen Mini Spectacular in July?

Not going to Monroe, but we will be at Evergreen. :D

We'd love to have ya as a neighbor.....

Liz

Hilary and I will be at Evergreen. We are taking Fiona and Charm. The girls get to go. Falcon just came back from the Pacific Crown show and could not win a ribbon to save his life! So he is restricted untill next year! HeeHee.

Liz, I definitely want to be neighbors! It was so much more fun at the Boring show than last year's shows when I was off alone...

Kim, I can't wait to see you and Hillary and the wee girls!

And...Liz and Hillary...I promise not to bring the mammoth loading ramp this year!

Where is Evergreen?

I told Hubby I AM GOING to the show in McMinnville come July~ :bgrin

I hope to be there at least a couple of the days. I love to show at Monroe. Definitely will be at Evergreen as I live in Tacoma and I have a boy to go into futurity.

Come on and give Falcon a chance! This judge did not place horses that went reserve champion at Walla Walla, this show could place them different.

Just got back from the Pac Crown show and had a decent weekend. My first show of the year and my mare is driving in a new bit. She got a 1st, 3rd and 4th in roadster. Pleasure class was our weakness and finally placed 4th out of 6 in stakes and I was pleased. That was after 4 driving classes for the day.

Placed 5th out of 21 in liberty Friday which is always our fun class.

I was most excited about my 3 year old gelding's first show. Did not have time to body clip so no halter this time. Played in halter obstacle. 5 out of 6 and 3 out of 5 which pleased me. He loved the show and was such a good boy.

We'll be at both shows :aktion033:

And Kim...don't worry...Falcon looked great. My filly couldn't seem to place to save her life either...the judge hardly even took half a second to look at her before he moved on  Oh well...maybe next time!

I look forward to seeing everyone!

Tracy

The girly girls and I will be at the Evergreen.....

Don't have the energy to go to Monroe, in two weeks, after

this long week end. and with the new filly, don't want to

get to far away from her and Mom.

We're going to try a pinto show this July, too, just for the heck of it.

Don't know if we'll do this next year but it's fun to have horses showing

again after a 8 year hiatus.

Oh goodie! Sounds like fun and a great chance to meet more of you!

Not to repeat myself (although I always do...), but...

Is there a website or email address where I can get a premium for the Cavalcade of Ponies??

Finally found the info... Have fun everyone- Wish I could go to the Evergreen show!

Cheryl,, that is one pretty gelding!!! Congrats! It was good to see you. Liz didn't make it up, but the weather was pretty yucky anyway.

And Tracy,,, Your George daughter is exquisite! There were some really tough classes. He sure didn't give you long to make a "statement." And Falcon's statement was " just ate a sour pickle!" He deserved his placings in my opinion. I still love him!

See you guys at Evergreen!!!!

Hi,

I will be there at the show! I have just my little shetland filly that will be shown in halter and liberty. Kim where were you all weekend? I was across the way from you and never saw you...but then I was there just friday afternoon - saturday evening.

My filly did pretty well at the show. Her first show ever and she took reserve grand champion mare in the shetland division. I can't wait to get her under these 4 judges to see who likes her type.

Hey Amanda!

I only saw you for a sec on Friday but didn't bother you, you were talking to someone. We we there Friday, and it took us 3 1/2 hours to get home because the freeway was closed and everyone was diverted through, Roy, McKenna and Yelm. It was terrible. It usually takes one hour to get home.

Congrats on your wins!!! We didn't do terribly well, but there were some great horses there too!!!

Did a tall woman ask where we were on Saturday??? I got a call from her that morning. She was SUPPOSED to be there Sunday, but wrote down the wrong day. Oh well! Hilary had prom and so we decided to just stay home and not worry about the show Saturday. We were back Sunday. Nicely run show, it was fun.

Hi Kim,

Okie! I hope Hilary's prom went well. We had just diverted off the freeway when it started to get backed up, and Highway 7 was sllllllllooooooooow.

Yes, a tall lady did ask for you on Saturday. She said if we saw you to let you know she had stopped by. I was wondering if she had the days confused as Saturday had just halter classes all day long.

So who had the two ribbons hangin on your banner?

Amanda

The two ribbons were from Hilary's B gelding Jake. She showed him on Friday. And it has been a couple years since he has shown. So being a little flaky, he still did alright!!!

I saw that S&T was selling a Bond Dynamo daughter or grand daughter. Wish I had the money for her!!!

I can't go to Monroe despite the fact that it's my only local show because that's the weekend of the huge Happ's CDE but I plan to be at Evergreen! Can I room with you guys too?

: It's just me and little ole' Kody... I promise he won't do much more than eat the stall drapes, paw a hole in the floor and totally terrorize the neighborhood.

I was thinking of you guys as I inched my way past Parkland on 512 on my way down to Oregon for the Stoneybrook Driving Trial Friday afternoon. The supposedly four hour drive took 9 1/2 hours!! :new_shocked:  It was awful.

Equusize, I can't wait to meet your pretty girls. So cool! Squeaky, will you join the barn party? And Susanne, we can finally meet! Woot! I demand at least one picture of Mingus and Kody arguing over who is the baddest (ex)stud for the forum to appreciate. This weekend Kody managed to get a 17+ hand draft horse to rear, squeal like a girl and literally run in fear from him and now he's convinced he really is king of the world. Mingus will have to teach him otherwise!

How were the stalls at Spanaway?

Leia

Leia, You're cracking me up -- just what I need after a long, tiring day!

Mingus was so well-behaved at our show this past weekend that he may just blow his reputation...

The stalls at Spanaway left a lot to be desired...but at least they were better than the creepy hotel where I stayed! I ended up sleeping in our van the second night -- safer and more comfortable. It was also kind of a lonely show last year, since I was pokey at registering and our stall was far away from Liz and Kim and everyone. Mingus was being a dork, my clippers died, yada, yada, yada. This year should be SO much better!

Now I finally have a show in MY backyard!! I can't wait to see Susanne again and meet some people whom I've only known through this list! There is also a wonderful girl from the high school where I teach that will be showing there, so it'll be fun to go support her too!

See you!

Jayne

I didn't see you there at all Kim and we shared back walls of the stalls.

Every time I asked someone if they were a Crabby Chicken when they

were near your stall, they said, "No, haven't seen them all week end."

The girls only had Saturday classes so we took them home to go play

with their new baby sister....so missed you on Sunday, too.

Stalls were in good shape, not counting the rain that blew in the aisleway

6 stalls deep Thursday night.
