Show me pics of your minis and there carts

I just bought a cart and also got a harness for our mini but im alittle confused on how to harness him up. I was wondering if you can post pics of your minis harnessed so i can see. I was only shown once a few weeks ago and i must be doing something wrong it just doesnt look right.

I don't have a cart or anything for that matter to show yet! I am just learning about driving and I have been doing a lot of searching online. I am anxiously waiting for about 4 books on driving, that I ordered yesterday, to get here. LOL

Anyway, I found this site that has 5 ( I think) videos of how to harness a horse and how to drive then how to un harness. They use one of those neck harness instead of the breast one, but it still shows you the basics!

I have no room to talk on this, but I would be careful if you are new to harnessing. Or if your horse is new to it! Might want to find a helper or a trainer. I am currently looking for a trainer and hope to have one by spring!

The problem is there are all kinds of harnesses with little differences, it will drive u batty!

Below is my 1st harness I got for Rio. Its just a plain leather one but didnt stop us from winning a Res. Nat. Ch. with it!

Then I had a black patent leather harness made just for Rio and he is wearing it below.

Dont know if u can see enough to help u any!

I was shown one time and it just doesnt look right. Not sure what im doing wrong thought if i see some pics i would see what im doing wrong. Im also going to find someone to help me learn. I think thats for the best

Go to the "Best of LB" forum and take a look at a thread on the second page called "A Pet Peeve of Mine- this just 'drives' me crazy." It starts getting really useful around page 3!

I have to admit it's amusing to see my own posts from back when I was the newbie instead of the one answering questions.
