Gosh Vicky, do they know what type of spider would cause this reaction? I am sure more than one but maybe you have a particular one native to your area. Just curious. And I sure hope she recovers soon.
When I was in nursing school last year we were told that MRSA a very bad infection that is resistant to alot of antibiotics, was coused from spider bites most people thought but actually the MRSA was just miss diagnosed as a spider bite. There was never a spider involved. Maybe that is what happened here. MRSA is treatable but with stronger antibiotics. Just be careful, MRSA is missed diagnosed here all the time as insect bites.
