I think the map may only show that there are strange things -- and odd people -- spread around all over the place

Seriously, compare the "findings" on this map to the reported sightings of UFO's... if you are looking at it from a numbers lend legitimacy angle, you will find a whole lot more dots on the map.

Ozy, I am a Christian and do believe in the bible.
Yes, I know you are

...that's why I went to the trouble of posting that entire post as it (except the first line) was written by Elaine Pagels, who is THE Harrington Spear Paine Professor of Religion at Princeton University. She graduated from Stanford and gained a PhD in Religious Studies from Harvard. I think she knows a little more about what she's talking about. You'll get more biblical truths from a highly intelligent well educated theologian than some local pastor who's paycheck includes keeping the sheeple in the dark. I was obviously mistaken, thinking you'd want to know some of the actual truth behind the Bible, I apologize.

Oh well, I'll leave my post there. I know from feedback that there ARE people finding it very revealing.

Enjoy the Sky trumpets

I am not a practicing Christian, meaning I do not attend church. I was however brought up catholic and did attend church for many many years so no I am not listening to a pastor or priest. I do however read the Bible and make up my own mind and do research and study. I don't believe I said that I believed it to be the trumpets in the Book of Revelation for sure and that perhaps it is something else entirely. It could be Haarp. My mind is open to all possibilities, heck I haven't even shut my mind to the possibility there are ufos in this world. I do believe in God, a higher power if you wish to describe him/ her that way. I am not sure why you are upset but I am sorry if I said something that you felt offended by. I certainly did not mean to do so and hope you keep posting your opinions as you have every right to do so and I enjoy reading your posts.

I'm not upset at all

a lot of people have a very wrong interpretation of the book of revelations ... Usually because of uneducated local church pastors preying on people's fears

shame on them!....I wanted to share more of an experts research for you to understand it a little better.

I bet there are more pot stirrers online than there are local pastors who are not good people. Religion is not a bad thing, but some people who say there is no God put a lot of effort into actually preaching about that which they think doesn't exist.

Well unfortunately right now there is one pastor that comes to my mind that is making and has made every attempt to stir the pot in a very disgusting way and certainly not for the betterment of humankind. Those kind of hate spewing religious leaders of any religious group lose everyones respect, whether believer or not, unless their fanatic followers believe their leader's hateful and disrespectful rhetoric.

It's sad Danielle. These pastors have people who look up to them and learn from the way they behave
