My heel had been hurting for about 4-5 months,,,,,,,when it got to the point I couldn't walk anymore, I went to the doctor. Something I never do. I have 3 kids and did go to the doctor for them, but other than that, just don't go,,,,,,,mainly because I have no reason to go. One of those people who are always healthy and never ever take medication. I have taken anitibiotics all of 3 times in my entire life!
Anyway, I have been doing what the doctor ordered. Taking anti flammatory medicine, ice in a plastic bottle, exercises, shoe inserts, new shoes,,,,,,,,,and over the past 10 days it has just gotten worst.
As of today, I have more swelling, swelling has gone up into my ankle, my heel hurts not just on the bottom, but all the way around, have a shooting pain from the inside of my heel up the side of my foot to my big toe, my calf muscels are cramping, have cramping in my toes, and all and all, it's wearing on my nerves. If I walk it hurts, if I don't walk, it tightens up more and hurts more.
Leave for nationals in 2 weeks, my concern is the amount of walking I'll be doing, all on cement and how I can handle it better, what to do?
I feel like a wimpy gimp,,,,,,,maybe because I don't get sick, haven't had injuries.
My last post I found some with the problem in the past, got any other ideas? How do I get through nationals still standing?????
Do you have a foot store in your area?
