Surgery for me tomorrow

After having sometimes intense abdominal pain for over a year, I am having surgery tomorrow to see if they can figure out what is going on, and fix it at the same time. Also am having a couple of old and worn out, now unused parts removed, LOL

Should be a fairly quick recovery, but am annoyed that I wont be able to lift anything or do much for a while........ Sure hope it all goes well.

Best wishes for tomorrow Laurie; I'll be thinking lots of positive thoughts for you! Hopefully they can find what is causing your pain & it will be an easy fix--then once those old worn out parts are taken away you'll feel like a new woman!

Thanks, I hope it all goes well. I have so many WEIRD reactions to so many medications- it's not the surgery itself that makes me nervous but being put under and the reactions to that stuff...... Had horrible hallucinations once from some other stuff, or just dont like to wake up very quickly....

Couldnt sleep, been up since 4 a.m. I just couldn't lay there any longer. Even the cats thought I was nuts to get up that early but decided to join me when I served them breakfast, LOL They have all gone back to bed though!

I will call zoey829 or have my sister call her for an update.... I expect I will be back on here before long.

I had tweaked my left thumb while unloading a truckload of hay about a month ago, and just thought I sprained it, but had it xrayed last week while I was having my surgery labs done. They told me yesterday the xray shows it was broken. Oopsie. If I had thought that, I should have had it taken care of earlier -so when I get through this, I have to go have it checked out to make sure it's healing correctly. Still hurts a lot and swells sometimes, and still doesnt bend much. Shoot, if I ran to the Dr. every time I wounded myself, I would just rent and live in a room there, LOL

Thank you so much for all your well wishes for today!! I am hard to keep down and get bored easily..... I am just going to have to remember NOT to lift stuff. I am really independant so it is hard not to just do things for myself, but I dont want to mess up what they will hopefully be fixing today.

Well, gotta get some stuff done before time to leave... it's an hours drive to the hospital from here. Will talk to you all soon!!
