Three guesses as to what show our TIVO will be catching!!! Pushing Daisies is a neat program, and I think it beats the alternative, The Barry / Barack Obama Show, that being carried by NBC, FOX and CBS tonight

Easily afforded, too, with his broken promise regarding not accepting public finance

I don't have a clue what's on network TV, since I don't watch it, but I will be watching the Obama show tonight

C'mon ladies we probably should watch it. It may very well be nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

Wouldn't it be funny to think how it would be if Obama had to sell commercials on it to afford the air time (which he affords only due to a broken promise). I wonder who he'd choose to advertise on his "program". It's a riot the way it's playing out in my mind!!!

We are watching the World Series....Just checked the listings and I can't believe they moved it to 8:30 instead of 8 so the Barry Obama Show could be on before it.

I will NOT be watching. I have better things to do, like sitting in class going over statistical data, then watching and listening to more b.s. come out of that man's mouth.

Well.....I already voted for McCain.... but indeed I will want to watch this tonight just to see what he has to say. I would rather know whats he is up to, then not know and wonder. At least I will be sitting down if for some reason I go into shock as to what he has to say.

I don't like him but forsure he has my attention as to whats going on.

I too would rather watch a movie or even watch the paint dry or bake cookies. But I really think we need to be informed as to whats he is up to.

This is true, but he talks talks talks, and really says nothing! I think that's the part of the problem with him, even his supporters have commented to that. He is a great speaker, that says absolutely nothing! He'd make a great used car salesman.

I'm going to watch the paint dry.

Yes I know he just talks too much and repeats himself alot, but just maybe he will have something important to say. Which I don't see that happing.

Ofcourse he's not going to change my mind. Besides if he gets boring then I will always have the remote in my hand and switch to something else.

Just Us N Texas

So, do you think you will really find out? Or will there just be more fantasies?
Oh most likely more fantasies

I doubt that we will learn anything new. Just that he can buy air time!

I will be watching. Most of the staff here at my work said they will also be watching. He will have a vast audience in the U.S. but also in Canada and perhaps other countries.

I don't watch infomercials as I've found the end product is NO where near what you were convinced it was!

If Obama has not said it by now "what else is left for him to say"? Perhaps he will answer all of those questions some of us still have in our minds..... I doubt it but I'm sure we will hear what a glowing performance he gave!

I for sure will watch it.. It is important for me to see what our next president has to say..
If McCain had a program, I would watch that too... I like to keep am open mind..
I'm with you Mary Lou - I can't believe how immature some people are handling this situation - regardless - McCain/Obama - one of them is going to be our next president and I would hope that we as Americans would stand behind whoever it will be.

I would think that a true American who really cares about our country would want to be as informed as possible and would do it with an OPEN mind.

I guess that means I'm not a true American who cares about my country, because as I said before I'd rather watch paint dry!

There is nothing he can say at this point to change my mind on who I'm voting for, and he is not president yet...polls have been way off before!

Call me immature if you want, I don't care, I won't be watching. I just ordered the movie Baby Mama for that timeslot on my directv.

I think that things said in threads like this, show that while people claim they would support the next President, they actually wont. Yes Obama rambles on, but he does say things, wow, imagine that!! Unlike McCain, who rambles about Obama and while he says things, he gets many of those things wrong. I will watch it, just as I would watch it if it was from McCain. I refuse to be like some members of my family who believe all the emails and wont watch a person speak.

He may not change minds and have people decide to vote for him. But maybe he will show people that these emails and scare tactics have no merit and are just Rove-ish politics.

Well, here's a true American who's spent many, many hours becoming informed which included discovering who Obama is. For that reason, my husband and I will NOT be tuning into a half hour of Obama's very own Infomercial.

I don't watch infomercials, period; tonight will be one of those times when I am DOUBLY thankful for my satellite service(I do not have TiVo, though have been saving up to upgrade my service so that I may, sometime before too long.)

I have already voted. Although I agree that it is a good idea to try to be informed, I'm not interested in supporting the notion of a blatantly broken promise that allows payment for a 30 minute self-aggrandization. I have no doubt it will be hailed as a 'stellar' performance, full of the kinds of pronouncements that many wishful thinkers long to hear...but that has little to no correlation to what is likely to ACTUALLY occur. Remember, I've seen this before---lots of times, in 46 years as a voter.

Actually, IMO, it is OBSCENE, the amount of money that most candidates for public office now are 'moved' to spend to try to influence voters. In this particular case, I find it VERY 'off-putting' that this extreme spending for just that purpose was made possible by a candidate going back on his word. Now, before all you apologists jump to point out that 'everybody' lies? Don't bother; I am all too well aware of how widespread that is; still doesn't mean it should just be 'blown off', but rather, remembered, and considered when forming one's opinions(unless of course, you don't think it matters....)

As history has clearly shown, we haven't had ANY 'perfect' people in our highest offices for some time, have we? That being the case, and since I have no other choice, I'll 'settle' for certain kinds of imperfections over others--and have already firmly decided who I think is the more likely to truly put our ENTIRE country first. That isn't the Democrats' candidate.
