Mother Nature works for the best somtimes, and the Higher up too. Aurora is in good spirits and doing very well. Now can give her that much needed rest for a year and then try again, and learned alot about mares ,foals, etc, etc. He was a very pretty colt, I just can't thank Lori enough, she has been such helpfull and great informative persn

It's been a learning curve for me too. I'm not very good at poems so if one of ya'll come up with one, I won't mind at all...

OH NO!!! Oh, Bob, I'm soooo sorry. There are just no words to adequately tell you how sorry Sid and I are. My heart breaks for you, but I Thank God that Aurora is alright. Sending you a big, warm hug.

I'm so sorry, Lori......that must have been very hard. Sending lots of hugs to Aurora. Glad to hear that she's not taking the loss too badly.

As was posted earlier.....sometimes Mother Nature knows best, but it doesn't make it easy to take.

Bob, Lori, Aurora, - I'm sorry for everyone. It's a miracle that Aurora is doing so well, so it will help to focus on that. Everything like this happens for a reason and it just wasn't her time to be mommy - doesn't mean she won't ever be one - just not now. Lori, you're a saint! :worshippy:

I'm glad that Aurora seems to be doing well though.

It's so sad when they get so close to their due dates and just don't make it. I'm sorry for your loss Bob but I'm glad to hear Aurora is doing okay! Lori, I'm so glad you have been there for Aurora. Take care.

Condolances and blessings from Minnesota. So sorry to hear of the loss of that beautiful baby.

I have to say that with this many people rooting for Aurora and hoping and praying for the best then this MUST be what was best. Thank you all for your support and condolences - you are truly wonderful!!!

I am so very, very sorry for the loss of Aurora's foal. I am very glad she was there with you, Lori.

Bob...I don't know what on earth you are thinking, but ANY respect for you or your feelings for these horses just went out the window! If your first thoughts and first words are to give this poor old "rescue" mare with heaves that has been to heck and back already a short break and then "try again".....man, you need your head examined!!! You bred this mare on purpose when she was already in bad condition and just stated your full intention on doing it again??? OMG!!!!! How about thinking of the horse FIRST?!?!?!?! I am just sick over this...not only is this attitude sickening and self-centered, but it is also a smack in the face to everyone who has tried to help you and Aurora--esp. Lori who has been dealing with the repercusions of YOUR actions....or inactions!!!
