We are going to West Monroe, LA in May and Meridian, MS in August for AMHR AMHA shows for sure. Then we have our local half a day shows once a month starting in Feb. endding in Nov. but we don't have any shows planed for June, July, or Oct. I guess that will be our break from showing.

So what shows are you going to this year.

Being new not sure yet but as far we think Burbank, Ca and Reno 'may' be on the list for one colt, not sure about a filly yet.

It's a little early yet to be sure but so far we're looking at Cedar Rapids, IA. (AMHR) June 18 & 19; Area VI @Winona, MN. July 1-3; Escanaba, MI. (AMHR) July 8-10; possibly Congress Des Moines IA. July 12-16. Oh, and our club open show June 4 @ Manitowoc, WI. and Nationals is ? iffy this year.

Wow that makes July "show" heavy - hubby will have a fit!

In the Pacific NW, I'm planning on the Spring Fling in Eugene, OR with at least my colt in late April, Pacific Crown in May, and the Cavalcade of Ponies and Evergreen AMHR shows in June. I've got nobody fit or old enough for CDE's so although there's one of those in July and one in August I'll have to sit them out.

The colt should hopefully be driving in time for the VSE Driving Trials Twice in September though! That's an unsanctioned event so it's okay that he won't be quite four yet.

I'll be attending Nationals as a spectator for a few days and attending the national ADS meeting at Happ's as well as probably Convention in Portland. Yay for big things being held locally!

I will be attending as many Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota shows as I can-this will be my first year showing and I am VERY excited! Not only to finally get to show, but to finally meet so many of the wonderful friends I've made via the internet over the years. I can't wait!

Well I only have a little itty bitty yearling I hope to show this year...crossing my fingers and hoping a mare doesn't decide its time to foal.

We are planning to participate in 7 AMHA shows this season. 5 club level, Centrals & the World show.

Nationals and Worlds are well worth going to, even if just to watch.

We are planning on 3 Michigan shows for sure. I will have a colt with Rosemill Training, and a filly with Jason Bluer, and they will be going to more, including Worlds and Nationals.

NONE HERE!

$$$ will be tight

just bought a new mini trailer.

having a photographer out again this yr as well.

with foals arriving all through the summer... well you know

Also maybe attending the Little King foaling seminar too.

So $$$ will be going to the above instead.

:yeah

We will be attending the 3 shows in Michigan, then we are hoping to attend Ohio State Fair show then Congress and Nationals.

We hope to be showing at only the fair shows around our area.

7 shows on our agenda.

A lot of these horses we compete with,

go to the Nationals, and we do very well

I do not yet know what is going to be near my area of Kentucky this year. I probably will not be showing any "Class A" (What do Miniature Horse people call their breed/registry shows? Class A? Sanctioned?) Miniature Horse shows this year, just fun all-breed shows, open all-breed shows, and a county fair show or two (which is fine with me, I hear quite a few of the fun and open shows actually "payback"!).

Lets see. The spring Wichita, KS show in the beginning of May. The Bluestem show in Lincoln Nebraska in June. Centrals in August and hopefully Worlds. That's about all I can afford LOL!

The number of shows in our area have been cut back, but we plan to go to both the May show in Ogden, Utah and the August show in Logan, Utah. We also wanted to go to the Blackfoot Idaho show in July but we have a scheduling conflict (argh!). I may get a trainer to take them to show there though. Our Buckeroo grandson has just started driving training and needs just 26 points and two Grands to Hall of Fame in Halter so he'll be our "main" show horse this year. Now to whittle down the number of other horses to show, my list is LONG, lol!

I haven't been able to show much at all in the last four years so I am really excited to get back out there and have some fun!

Well this will be the FIRST time showing for us if it works out

...Maybe make the Blackfoot, ID. show in July and Logan, Utah show in August...but we also will have mares foaling then too, soooo we will be Praying about it. Have a super nice Pinto filly I would LOVE to get into the show ring.

Good Luck to ALL,

Jenny
