Just did my 5 mo colt a few days ago, but he got a full body clip for the upcoming show. He was a perfect gentleman, never moved, even on the head! He was better than ny regular show horses that have been clipped for years.... go figure.

Either they have a nice horse or not, doesn't matter who the farm is! Heck yes the larger farms are producing culls, people just don't hear about them. Those horses are sold without papers or given away.... or hidden in the back pastures. Not every horse born is going to be a show horse, thats...

I agree Trace, I wished it would have included the mares and geldings too, as I think they are just as special. Maybe they will in the future, when the decision will actually affect the decision makers! lol

I have several ponies that are from the north, with this being their first Texas summer. I plan to take a mist system to hang above their stalls. Supposed to lower the temperature as much as 20 degrees. So I think they will be just fine. We plan to have a portable ac unit in our stall, so humans...
