Last Chance To Get MareStare Working. .

I've exhausted Heather at marestare about the issues we've had setting me up. You guys are my last hope or I'm going to have to ditch it and just not use MS and try and find another method for foal watch. 

We got everything working and the cam up and running - then my computer froze when she logged off of remote control and then I had to close out the adobe flash 2.5 and restart it. Well when I did all I now see are a bunch of white and black lines going crazy everywhere and no cam view. None of the settings changed or anything but the screen sure did. Everything else is working fine and is plugged up the same. 

Like I said, if I can't figure it out I'm just going to get rid of the equipment and forget about using MS at all. Took forever to get it set up the first time, thanks to Heather and now for it to do this - yeah I am about ready to chunk it in the trash and forget it! 

Any ideas?

Don't give up! It took me two YEARS to get my system up and running....and the problem was all here, not with marestare! Works like a charm now...wish I was foaling this year. I just watch them pooping now.

I printed out my return receipt so at least I'll get most of my money back. Packed it up and tomarrow it's headed to the post office. No marestare for me this year, maybe never.

I am going to try to get a new video capture device and then if that doesn't work with marestare I'm going to try another streaming service hosted by another person.

I had several people PM me, no ideas worked so in order for me to get a new video capture device ASAP (by tomorrow with rushed shipping) and get a refund on the possibly defective VCD ASAP I had to make a decision on what I was going to do. At least this way I will know for sure if the VCD "fried" on me or not. 

Not trying to be blunt but I am in a bind and don't have a whole lot of time to wait really. Tried about 10+ things (not to mention all of the help and ideas I got from Heather - who has been so very easy to help me and has given so much of her time) and none of them have worked.

Yep, I've been streaming to my TV for about a month now with no problems. Only problems come from the adobe flash 2.5 (can't handle the newer version) and Mare Stare.

If you have a mare due very soon, you can use a baby anolog monitor, they come with a camera and reciever that you can watch like a small TV. You can use until your marestare is working. You sound like you are in a panic, please take a deep breath and calm down, let those that can help help. God Bless!

I'm doing my best to hold it together. Me and Heather are both worn out over this and ready to help each other pull our hair out! We both have mares heavily progressing to foaling time plus all this crazy hectic stuff with the MS going on! I will post here tomarrow as soon as I get my new device in and tell yall how it goes - hopefully I will be able to tell yall that you can go to my link and help me mare watch! . . . .PLEASE pray for me. . . .long long night ahead of me

UPDATE FROM THIS MORNING:

I got the new video capture device but I am still having those stupid black and white lines up running where my streaming cam should be. Everything is set right according to the directions I got, and nothing has changed plus my own cams are working fine to my TV but are just not coming through to my PC. 

I know Heather is busy and I need help ASAP because I need help watching my mares since I don't have my husband here to help. 

 or I may have to say goodbye to any MareStare hopes

Oh gosh I wish I were near enough to pop over and help. I know nothing about this stuff and my web cam is not up yet. If you want I will try and contact a friend who is a tech wizard. perhaps he could help?
