    Curious....???

I'm torn here too! I haven't ever done a complete body clip - don't ever want to! I touch up any stray long hairs and then of course clip as I would a QH. As some have said Getting a nice smooth coat with a curry comb and elbow grease probably is harder than clipping. But I think up close...

Listerine, Baby Oil...what other Household items

Here's one I haven't read yet: Corn Starch rubbed on white markings to make them nice and bright white. Haven't found anything better than WD-40 for burr removal! - good detangler on dry manes and tails too it doesn't take much, Its helpful even if it is just spray on your brush or comb. I...

    Soaking hay cubes??

I've thought about that, but haven't seen it - never really heard about it till I joined LB. But I do know it is in the buckeye SR grain I feed him. Maybe I could ask questions about beet pulp on here too. How is bp packaged? -shredded/cubed? How much water to add? Alfalfa cubes vs. Beet...

    Soaking hay cubes??

Thanks for the suggestions! I mainly got it to supplement my old QH, he seems to drop more weight each year so I wanna give him a few extras this winter. He's always been fed dry food so he's not to sure about the soup, but if I can thicken it up I think he'll learn to like it. The little...

    Soaking hay cubes??

Hi all, I bought some hay cubes today only to use as a supplement and/or treat. I feed grass hay ( not great hay but it'll do) but I thought a small amount of alfalfa cubes would be good for them this winter, extra water and nutrition. I put about 4-5 big cubes in some water today and made...

    Wizard of OZ - mini's?

We're watching the Wizard of OZ (FYI on tbs channel right now). And my son asked me if I realized they used mini's in the movie. They probably won't show them again but in the beginning when the munchkins all come out they drive Dorthy around in a carriage pull by 2 black mini's. They sure...

Thanks I took my harnessing lessons from a book (can ya tell) I've been tweaking the fit for a year now and I'm still not happy. The boys are pulling the cart and doing great but each drive I see something I want to tweak. The breeching is definately a problem, I'll tighten it up next drive...
